Richard Neutra's McBeth House
Austrian-American architect Richard Neutra was the master of the asymmetrical fireplace. Note also the built-in daybed in the living room, and the Neutra-designed “Boomerang Chair.” Neutra designed the modestly-scaled but elegantly minimalist McBeth house for a site in Los Angeles in 1955. Photographed in the mid 1950s by Julius Shulman, some of these photos have never been published before.
